Welcome to Mount Hermon Baptist Church!
And welcome to the upgraded Mount Hermon Baptist Church website! It's been a long time coming, and it's finally online!  We hope you'll find the new website to be more attractive, easier to use, and a good source of information.

Please be patient, as the construction of this new site is a work in progress, especially on the calendar and student ministry pages.

Meet John Sellers

John, Rebecca, and Brighton SellersOur Associate Pastor, Students and Education Search Committee recommends that we call John Sellers to fill this position.  John is 26 years old (27 in September), and is from Panama City, Florida.  His wife, Rebecca, is from West Palm Beach, Florida.  They have one son, Brighton, who will be 2 years old July 19.

John graduated in December from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina with a Master of Divinity Degree.  The Sellers presently reside in Wake Forest.

John has held two ministry intern positions, and is an experienced speaker and worship leader.  He plays trombone, guitar, and keyboard.  He has been heavily involved in student work in several different Churches, both as a student, and as a leader.  John is presently a small group leader at North Wake Church.

The Sellers family will be at Mount Hermon Baptist Church on Saturday and Sunday, July 12 and 13.  On Saturday night at 6:30 we'll have a Church-wide finger food fellowship in the fellowship hall.  At that time, everyone will be able to meet the Sellers, get to know them a bit, and ask any questions they would like to ask.  And the Sellers may do the same.  John will fellowship with our students at 9:15 a.m. Sunday (with doughnuts), and then teach them in Sunday School.  He will share with the congregation during Sunday morning worship, sharing his testimony, call to the ministry, and vision.  We'll vote to call him at the conclusion of the morning worship service.

Please be in prayer for John, Rebecca, Brighton, and Mount Hermon Baptist Church.
